My friend OD'd on MDMA?

The autopsy said that he had 4400 ng/ml of MDMA. Does that mean that for every ml of BLOOD, there were 4400 ng of MDMA? And if you could, could you tell me how much MDMA there was? Thank you so much.

Chemically speaking, people usually do not die "From" the MDMA, they die because of the other side effects that the MDMA causes... Such as heat stroke, dehydration, etc.

I have never heard of someone that died because the actual chemical MDMA poisoned them.

I have ONLY heard about people that died because of the side effects.

The lethal dose of MDMA is several grams, I'm fairly sure your friend did not OD on MDMA. Unless he was making the drug himself, the amount you would need to overdose would run you at least $1500.

Are you sure there weren't any other drugs in the mix? Or that he didn't die from not taking care of himself while rolling? The most common causes (and pretty much only causes) of death from taking ecstasy are from either water intoxication (drinking too much water), dehydration or overheating.

I'm sorry to hear that your friend died. If you use ecstasy, please try and stay safe in the future. Test your pills and roll responsibly.

well if ng is nanograms, which is a very small amount, and the average human has 5000 millileters of blood, then that means he had 22000000 nano grams in his body which also means he had a total of .022 grams in his body if my math and convertion is right, hope i helped, .022 grams seems very little so i could be wrong.

Yes that is what it means. I've never heard of anyone intentionally killing themselves with Ecstacy, but I guess it is possible
