Why is Yahoo Mail so slow this week?

Yes mine is as well i was just about to ask the same question, but it looks like its for everyone.

Yes, lots of people are having problems with this at the moment. I haven't been able to get in for the last few days. However you can get in via http://us.m.yahoo.com/p/mail or: http://de.m.yahoo/com/p/mail. You can read and send emails only without attachments. Hope this helps

I've been having exactly the same problems all week. But then again it seems to happen at least every few months and it's such a time-waster. What I don't understand is why don't Yahoo do like MSN and put something out on their home page explaining that there are problems, what's causing it & how long it's likely to take to resolve. Also why don't Yahoo look at sites like this now & again to see what sort of problems people are having with Yahoo & put out a response? I have been with Yahoo for years & don't really want to change but might have to as I'm fed-up!

I have also had problems with Yahoo all week. Thought it was my internet connections at first but it was exactly the same at work.

I find it slightly quicker on Explorer than Mozilla but it's still about 5-10 minutes to open a page.

It's a complete joke and if it's not sorted soon I'm switching all my email to gmail.

Sort it out Yahoo. It's a pathetic service.

I have also been having problems with yahoo mail. I am able to use any part of yahoo but when i try to access my mail it fails to load and is also constantly loadinggggggggg. Has anyone any ideas how to tell yahoo to fix it???

Mine is very slow, it keeps crashing and wont open emails

My parents both have yahoo accounts and theirs is the same

any ideas whats going on? been like this for 3 days now

Seems to happen every year around this time. Posssibly too many people, causing an overload of the yahoo servers. I would think, tahat after many years of this that they would upgrade the servers to handle the email traffic. Ed

I am glad we are not the only ones experiencing this - I thought I was going mad. Let's hope someone from Yahoo is reading this and sorts the problem out!!!!

I am having probs too. Glad to know its not only me.

I use classic for mail.

Web page is slow to open too.

Anyone got any ideas.

guy at work cant access his yahoo mail at all ...i will tell him he isn't the only one having problems

mine has been crap all week thinking of getting rid and switching all my e mail stuff to windows hotmail as if yahoo are interested in our problems.....???
