Dona Nobis Pacem by Ralph Vaughan Williams?
I'm wondering if anyone knows about Dona Nobis Pacem by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
I'm curious if anyone knows if during that time, if the music brought attention to the conflict and who did it reach. More so the movement Beat! Beat! Drums.
I've tried searching around on the web, but I haven't had much success yet.

Yes, I do know Vaughan Williams Dona Nobis Pacem. But I'm not sure which conflict you are talking about. Beat Drums, Beat! is a setting of Walt Whitman (from When Lilacs Last in the Dooryard Bloomed, I believe). That referred to the American Civil War. The music was, however, written very much later, in the 20th century It is a wonderful piece of music like most of V-W's choral works, and the part to which you refer is extremely moving as the music portrays the funeral cortege of the dead soldier passing by.
