R&P: Is there a CD that...?
You know you want but never end up getting? It's been on your list of CDs that you want to buy, but for some reason you don't happen to get it (It's too expensive, or you make another purchase instead).
For example:
I've been planning on getting Heima- Sigur Ros for a long time now. However since it's a DVD it costs around $20, which I'm willing to pay, but I never do. I've gone up to the register with it plenty of times only to return it to the shelf.
Also I have Too Far to Care- Old 97's on my list but I never get it because I always want to get another CD more then I want to get that one.

I have been meaning to get a Sublime box set for a looong time, but everytime I'm at the music store i rethink it and say "Well .. I have most of these songs already..." and I don't buy it.
I also have a Neil Young Greatest Hits CD, and not any of his albums, which I plan on buying but never do!!
There are others too, but seriously CDs are f*cking expensive

Yes, definitely :) (btw, Too Far To Care is excellent! I love that album. And of course what can one say about Heima other than it's a masterpiece!) That happens a lot for things I make a note to buy online but just never do...And, sadly, yes there are quite a few things that I have really wanted but don't add up well on a college budget and since music is where most of my money goes I have to stop somewhere lol xD
I've gone to the register with Beck's "Sea Change" album quite a few times but always put it back because there was something else I really wanted. One day I'm going to buy it ^^....So, yes, I can totally relate!! :)

I've wanted a ton of CDs for a long time. I'm poor. Mostly, I want the newer The Go! Team record, and any Jane's Addiction record. There are a lot of bands that I'm in love with incredibly but I can't really afford. And also, I want more Sigur Ros as well, I have a CD that my bf gave me and he said it was ( ) but I think it's actually a mix...

Yes, the latest Dinosaur Jr album. I've heard it numerous times and love the way it's gone back to their roots but for some reason I've passed it up several times, often for an album that I know will be nowhere as good.
Also, definitely pick up Too Far To Care. As a fan of the Old 97's for the last 12 years or so, I have to say it is by far their best piece of work. You won't be disappointed at all.

This was easy & quick to answer I'm not gonna be around here soon cause I'm leaving R & P, anyway--
Yes there's a least 3 bands & maybe all their stuff such as--
Phantom Rocker & Slick(2 Stray Cats & an older rocker named Earl Slick not playing rockabilly, but loud bluesy rock)
Boomtown Rats
Elvis Presleys from Hell
Texas Vamps
Ex Voto
Jason & the Scorchers
Exterminators
Frankenstein
Flaming Telepaths
Yard Trauma(even though I have 1 of their songs already)
Naked Raygun
Blackouts
The D**ks
Some Math Rock bands I was curious about, any suggestions?
There might be more but this is all I could think of for now
Edit--Yertle the Turtle, you might want to try either ordering directly from a band's record label online or order some record label catalogs from the record labels themselves.

I do that to a lot of The Yardbirds' albums... I never end up buying them because the only way I can do it is to order them online, so it takes extra work and more money. Plus I already have some of the songs on the CDs, so I keep debating whether the songs I don't have are worth the money. So it's just so much easier to push it to the side and get something else...

Most Pink Floyd albums between Saucer and Dark Side. They are always $17 $18 and I will never pay that much for a CD.

Demolition 23, a rendition of Hanoi Rocks in the mid-90s. I saw their CD in Helsinki (don't remember the name of the shop, but it was nr the railway station) for about 30$ (200 markkaa for those of us nostalgic for pre-Euro days) and wish I had bought it then because I haven't seen it anywhere since :(
I ended up buying a CD of Eppu Normaali instead.

Yes happens every time with The Birthday Massacre CD's. I have it in my hand then I decide to purchase a completely different CD altogether.

I do that sometimes. I do that with The White Stripes. I'll have the record in my hand, but I'll see another album I want, so I'll gently place it on the shelf and retrieve the other.
