Why do people use this site when the same question in google would give them an instant answer?

I have often wondered about this. I think perhaps that some people are too lazy to search the thousands ( or millions) of sites that a Google search would reveal, and are hoping for a "tabloid" answer or homework solution.

Personally I like to hear other people's point of view. Especially in the family, child and pregnancy sections because you get an insight into other cultures.

Sad isn't it. I like how they start off with a question only to state an observation.

Well, why didn't you? If you did, you would realize that this same question has been asked and answered hundreds of times before.

Well this is just my opinion... But yahoo answers is addicting!
