Please! For the love of God will someone find a way for Randy to go back to the year 2000!?
It would be great to get rid of him/her by sending them 12 years back into the past...

5 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoLaptop PSU - should I use 18V or 19V?
My HP laptop came with a 18.5V power adapter.
It died so I bought a generic power adapter with a range of output V.
It does not support 18.5V - only 18V or 19V
Currently running fine on 18V
Question:
Would it be better to use 19V?
Is it better for laptop to be .5V over or .5V under voltage?
2 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoLaptop power supply - technical question?
I have a HP laptop which uses a power supply giving 18.5V
The power supply died and I have bought a generic replacement.
The amps and watts are fine - but the multi-volatage selector only operates in whole Volt steps.
I can choose 18V or 19V - but not 18.5V
So - my question is which is better .5 volts over - or .5 volts under.
Guesses not needed - I can guess myself!

Wouldn't it be a lot easier to answer computer questions if people knew the difference between:
Unistalling - deleting - installing - downloading - formatting - rebooting - reinstalling - restoring.
... and if people said what version of Windows there were using or even if it was a Mac.
And this isn't just old people - this is people at college or whatever. What do schools teach about IT?

Like what version of windows they are using - or even whether they are using a mac or a pc?
