Why Are So Many Americans Blind to The Truth?

Because the art of critical thinking is no longer taught.

I'm not quite sure what your asking. So, my thought would explain how can Americans be so desperate and give up their own country? You might not know, but if democrat are your leader, then its over. Let's face it, we've lost the war and every country that we fought and won have come with a meteor rock. I personally don't want someone who just talks and use people so they can be the crown king of America. It doesn't matter if its 8 years or 4. You need a president that can keep the lives and dream of America. I think that John McCain is the next George Washington. A hero in this nation. So, i'm not sure if this is the kind of question you are asking. Ok

Insults and finger pointing is not a good way to get logical answers from anyone. But I suppose you already knew that Smarty Pants.

Of course you will recieve attacks when throwing out insults in the form a question.......

While in college, I was in a speech class and did a speech of persuasion. At the beginning, I didn't ask, I "told" my classmates to empty their pockets on a table in front of me. It was all part of a study previously done and proved that the majority of people will do what they are told as opposed to questioning and seeking answers for themselves.

It's the same principal in elections. So many people hear what they want, listen to what they are told, are not willing to dig for questions and answers, and have tunnel vision in that they cannot see outside their little box.

In a presidential election, you really have to dig deep for the "truth" and it's an overwhelming task if you want to see both sides.

This is what makes us a great democracy, we have the option of voting for someone who represents what we feel is most important and reflects our own views. Note, there is a big difference in fact and opinion, but most people can't accept that.

So, here....empty your pockets on the table and we'll see what turns up. Unless you happen to be the one person who takes the time to ask why.

Do you really think that you are the one that lets your emotions dictate your beliefs.

I put this question out for logical answers, not attacks.

They choose to listen and be spoon fed whatever the media says instead of reading history and reasoning.

The truth is out there about Obama and people will not accept it. Sad.

It depends on what people define as truth.

If you say I don't agree with you so I'm not telling the truth than I'm not blind.

But if you can present reasonable statistics and I still am not swayed then I'm blind.

Because they like what they are being told and refuse to look at the truth because they don't want be wrong..... even if they are VERY wrong...
