How do I go about selling a old collection of Baseball cards?

I have a collection of various cards from the late 19602 to early 1982 in boxes and in very good condition,....only one set the rest just a collection.

pick up a Beckett it has people looking for sets from the 1960's and it will give you a starting point on what to ask, if there is a local hobby shop ask if you can sell them there. The hobby shop that I buy from just let me put some out for sale. At ebay you make no money at least in a hobby shop you have a shot. There are several froups out there in yahoo you can advertise them in also.

Your best bet is to check out Ebay.

You can do some research there and find out approximtely what your cards are worth by the auction prices listed there for similar sets.

Here is a link to a list of baseball card auctions there:

    http://sports-cards.shop.ebay.com/items/Cards__W0Q...

Then you can set up an account for yourself and sell them online.

Whatever you do, do NOT go to a Sports Card Show and try to sell them to a dealer, they will only offer you a lot less than they are really worth.

    Good luck!
