I have to do a Halloween essay.?
I have to do an essay on how I think Halloween is safe for children or how I don't think it is. I'm chosing how it IS safe. Can someone give me some facts or their opinions on what they think of Halloween and how they think it's safe for children?

Well, what specifically is different with "Halloween". It's just a day. Based on that alone it would be no more or less safe than any other day. Now if you are talking about Trick or Treating, that is a different topic all together.
Halloween can be very safe for Trick or Treating. many churches, malls, State Parks, and even Disneyland offer safe alternatives and/or safe(er) Trick or Treating venues. Trick or Treating should be done while it is light to reduce getting hit by a car. Masks should be avoided for the same reason. Candy should be checked and suspect pieces should be thrown out.
