I accidentally put some water into the fuel tank of my car? Will it cause problem to my car?

I accidentally put some water, i believe about few ML of water, into my fuel tank of my car. Did this affect my car a lot? What should i do to overcome this problem? Will my car breakdown someday?

Update:

It is about 6-7 years car. I belived I just added few milliliters only, and i hope it was. As mentioned, adding in substances such as HEET gas, dry gas or Astone will affect the engine or not?

A small amount won't hurt anything.

Just dump a bottle or two of dry gas in your tank.

Will your car breakdown someday? ---- Probably. :)

Water or sugar are not going to do much. If you just want to have some fun, then put a quart of Cod Liver Oil and a quart of Brake Fluid in the tank. The engine will spew out really foul smelling oil fumes for weeks and stink up everything around it. This will cause no damage. If you want to destroy the engine, put about two pounds of 33 % nitrogen fertilizer in the tank. This is very corrosive and will eat through the pistons in a few hours, one the car is started. fuel additive like gumout or heet will get rid of the water. just put a bottle in, start it up and let it run. it won,t hurt the engine. you car won,t break down because of that. it will be good as new once the water is gone.

this shouldn't be a problem ,next time you add gas also add one bottle of HEET gas additive .HEET is made to take condensation or water out of the gas in the winter months

It depends, the new cars might with all of the electronic sensors. Older ones want. I would keep filling it up to "dilute" it out. That small amount shouldn't hurt anything.

youll be ok even if your gas and water goes to your engine when the spark ingnites the gas ill turn your water into vapor and let it out the tailpipe use all the gas and then refill

a few milliliters? it should be fine, aslong as you have a substantial amount of fuel in your tank to dilute it. water in that small of an amount doesnt do any harm

If it is just a few ml. the engine might miss some spark, but not to worry. no harm done to your engine.
