I know it sounds exciting, but I'll be honest... it's just disrespectful. Would you be okay with people messing around on or near the grave of someone you love? I know I would be crushed if someone was doing this around my grandma's grave :( It could also get you into trouble because every cemetery I can think of is privately owned & generally closes at sundown. I just think it might be a better idea to do something else- it's halloween, there's tons of stuff to do!

I go all the time at night, i am 27 years old and not many things scare me at all, but cemeteries are very creepy, VERY creepy! Which makes it that much funner :) TIPS 1. Halloween night- security will likely be on site, so you probably will get booted off quickly. 2. If you find one without security make sure you have a flashlight and a camera, take lots of pictures.. its fun to see the outcome.. i have many interesting photos. 3.Do not be disrespectful, dont step on graves knock stuff over or remove items from graves etc. 4. Dress warm! Cemeteries have grass and trees and make the air much much cooler then outside the grave yard. 5. Your emotions and fears will be at its peak, but honestly ive gone hundreds of times and have not once seen anything or heard anything. In reality cemeteries are very peacefull and calm. Be careful and have fun. Likely you will run out before getting to far in anyways.. i did the first few times, but now its nothing big. But then again i live in Phoenix,AZ and we have no creepy cemeteries really.

Last Halloween my friends and I tried to go to the cemetery. As soon as we were just a few steps in the police stopped us and questioned us, even threatened to take us to jail. So don't go to the cemetery on Halloween, the most that would happen is that you will be very bored or the cops with catch you.

Nothing- its a waste of time. You won't see anything and if you live up north the only thing you'll feel is the cold. Cemeteries aren't scary- they're rather depressing. Tombstones are landmarks for people who lost someone they loved and a lot of them are forgotten about (even more depressing). Respect the dead and their families- go pay 15 bucks to go to a "haunted" house instead.

You'll scare yourself at trivial things like a bird suddenly flying over your head or other animal or wind related noisesa and stuff like that... because in your mind you always think it's ghosts or zombies ;) But the worse that can happen is being kicked out by whoever works there, or being mugged by other cemetery visitors or attacked by a dog or something... good luck :)

We used to do it all the time as teens up in the country. It's wonderful. You should camp out, or bring a blanket and lay down.

Nothing really happens, sometimes other people are there. You should try to scare them if you see other people. Hide and make ghost noises. Just be respectful, don't destroy anything, don't drink alcohol there and don't make too much noise like screaming. Don't go alone, and make sure eveyone is going to play by the rules before you go. Also the police usually pay a visit and may tell you to leave.

I've done it before. I used to go to this one cemetery at night all the time. Sometimes weird things would happen, but maybe we just had overactive imaginations. It was fun though. Being creeped out and running back to the car because we thought we heard something or saw something. I miss those days.

In Mexico, that's what you do. During the day you clean and decorate the graves of deceased family members. At night, you light little lanterns, or candles, and visit with the dead. It's a very warm and comforting custom.
