Does eating flesh without knowing it make you a cannibal?

You'd be a cannibal for eating it. But I think trying to argue someone guilty of a crime for unknowingly being fed human flesh would be a pretty hard one to manage.

Cannibalism isn't illegal everywhere though. Eating someone alive is a crime, as is desecrating their grave to eat them, eating someone could be considered to be interfering with evidence by police. But the actual eating isn't illegal. Mentioning this to law students can provide a great deal of entertainment and I encourage one and all to try it!

Well. Though some statutes do not actually define criminal intent, I would think that Cannibalism, being principally at common law a crime against God or Nature I would assume that a criminal intent would have to be proven.

Unwittingly eating human flesh alone would not support the kind of criminal intent necessary to prosecute.

Now how in the world could you be thrown in jail for something you knew nothing about? I mean come on now. Being a customer at a restaurant will not make you a candidate for prison.

Does a man that gets tricked into having sex with a guy disguised as women make him gay? No. Stupid assumption. How can you be held responsible for something that was apposed upon you, that you had no idea of, and no possible way of knowing?

I would say no. Because think about it like this. If someone slips meat in a vegan's meal, that doesn't make them any less of a vegan. They were just tricked into it. Just because they ate meat accidentally, they are still a vegan.

If someone keeps putting cocaine into your food unknowingly and you become addicted to cocaine...you are a coke addict.

I ate human flesh once....omg i had diarreha for like 3 weeks after that, my friend cut his skin off and put it in my soup, i am now a cannible and I feel so guilty
