Girls, how do you feel when a guy tells you you're beautiful?

theres not much you can say or do to that

its something you dont know how to reply to especially if its not something you get told often

she probably just didnt know how to reply.

How would you feel if some chick came up to you and told you 'I think you're an absolutely fabulous person.' Your immediate reaction to this type is 'great of course.' But think about it again -- it'd be a little weird and off putting wouldn't it? Too up front, not subtle. It leaves nothing to the imagination. You can't expect to go up to a girl, tell her she's beautiful and then have her immediately fall in love with you in her gratitude.

Of course she likes being told she's beautiful as a rule of thumb. But you're better off telling her this after you two are close friends or know each other well. Not as a way of propositioning for a date or telling her you like her.

Usually you want to keep your hand hidden until you have reasonably good idea what she's holding in turn.

hmm..i would say it does depends on whether i like the guy or not. if one of my friends told me that i am beautiful, i wouldnt react much. at most i would just say thank you and thats all. but if the guy i like were to tell me that i was beautiful, i would probably be embarrased and be laughing to much and avoiding eye contact. i wouldnt be able to say anything back because my heart will be pounding to fast. well...you should ask her because different people has different personalities and different ways of thinking. maybe her non-reacted emotion is a way that she shows that she is embarrased. either way i with you luck!

Ha ha... I get exactly the same reaction with some girls. Those who are really beautiful ones, when I compliment their looks, they react that way. But to those who aren't that beautiful, I can see that they appreciate me noticing them. :) I guess if she's really beautiful she'd listened to many compliments like that already. Just ask her if you need confirmation, "Hey, aren't you buttered when I say you're a beauty?"

I dont think i am so when a guy says it to me i just kind of ignore it and go all shy, mayb thats what happend.. i think the more you like the guy the less likley you are to say anything that will give it away

Well I'm talking about me but when someone complements me I feel awkward but happy at the same time and I like it alot but instead of a smile my face normally turns into a frown and I'd be like screaming in my head stupid brain send the right signals and I can tell that the person in front of me feels awkward as well. I do smile if its from a friend but its when I'm interested in someone I become like that bit annoying :(

We don't say anything because... welll, it's kind of hard to put into words I guess. For instance, if someone said (seriously) you're handsome, or sexy, or whatever. What can you say without making yourself sound like a big-headed self-obsessed egotistical kind of person. We may not give much away, but secretly... We're flying.

maybe shes just really self conscious..or shes one of those girls that dont take compliments well..

it sometimes depends on who the guy is thats telling us..but 98% of girls love to hear their beautiful..

if she doesnt appreciate the fact that you think shes beautiful..shes not worth much of your time.

of course everyone likes being told they are beautiful. When someone says that to me i feel flattered. Maybe she has low self esteem and didnt believe you?

Maybe she is one of those girlz that has lots of ppl trying 2 get her attention, nd u sounded like them. Not saying it's a bad thing, it's a geniune and good thing 2 say 2 a girl if you think that, but idk some girlz just want guys who are a challenge?? But i'll leave it for tha ladiez, don't take my word.

uh properly, a brilliant form of females say im candy and rather superb and customarily like me, yet i grew to become into on the sea coast sooner or later with this one woman,i pronounced to pay attention that my plans have been to alter right into a marine, once I instructed her that she began to cry, it made me sense important in someones life. i felt extremely joyful, i be conscious of that dont answer your question, however the thats the sweetest factor for me i think.
