Try your isp and see if you get some free server space included. Most isp's do. Download 'filezilla' as an ftp client to upload your site.....good luck.

Ok. Do you know any programming language. If not there are a lot of free web hosting sites. One of them would be 43i.org. I have a website and the site builder allows you to hold up to 200mb. If you want to check out my site, I have them in the sources. freewebs.com is also another free webhosting server.

well if you can have your server host an html file form your computer then do that

make a txt document

click save as

then save it as a .htm document

then you can use javascript to edit the text int he website

You could learn HTML/CSS/etc. and you wouldn't have to care about what tools you have, as long as you have a text editor and ftp client. It is not especially hard, and there are many books and sites out there.
