Can anyone recommend a good vampire anime like Vampire Knight?

Ah, vampire anime.

You could always try Blood +, Trinity Blood, or Hellsing.

I find that it is relatively easy to immerse yourself in stories that center around vampire themes. Blood + even has various separate story arcs. It basically started out as a novel called "Blood: The Last Vampire" by Mamoru Oshii. I also recommend that! Hellsing, however, is a bit of a rough transition from something like Vampire Knight. Trinity Blood is somewhere in the middle.

Oh, but then we have Castlevania. How very, very epic...

Im pretty sure Trinity Blood might be...but Im not totally sure. There's also one called Vampire Dolls or something like that, and my two friends really liked it.
