Can you have wireless internet if you have dial up service ? ?
ok..I am still confused, currently I have dsl with a wireless 'g' router. They only have one dsl service in this area and it is expensive, that is why I am asking if i can go to dial up(cheaper) and still be wireless for the other computer and ps3?

My question would be, why would you want to? Just get DSL and the setup will be much easier. However, to answer your question, you must connect to the internet via dial up, and then use an ethernet cable between your router and computer. Then you must share the connection between your computer and the router.

The answer is NO, you must have an ISP device with an IP address and your own wireless router, your wireless device work off of it. Sorry.

Yes you can you will need a router that uses dial up connection like DSL or older model like this wireless "G" model.
