Removal of Magnetic Bumper Sticker?

I specifically got a magnetic sticker for my car so I could remove it, which I have been able to do before. But, yesterday, when I went to wash my car, the magnetic sticker would not come off! I'm guessing it's stuck because I live in a hot, dry area and I have a black car! I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this and how you were able to remove the sticker without damaging your car's finish?

Get a can of wd-40 and squirt it at the edge of the bumper sticker. Let it sit like that for about 10 min in a shaded area. Next, see if it will come off, if not, spray again. Get the kind of wd-40 that has the long straw like thing so you can really get it on the edge of that bumper sticker so it can seep down behind it and help it come off.

Rinse your car well after using it and don't allow it to sit on there for more than an hour! Rinse well and start again if needed. Should work just fine.

When you wash your car and have a magnetic bumper sticker, you need to allow your entire car to dry before putting the sticker back on. You need to make sure no water will get in there. If it rains, pull of sticker and let the car dry well. Replace every other year for best results.
