Does Yahoo / Yahoo answers have a way of scanning their own program?
Yesterday, and today, I signed on to yahoo, its my home page, I read my mail, then go to Yahoo answers. that is the only sites I have visited. I end up with a Trogan Horse each time. So I wonder if they do a scan to clean their site, and if not why not?

Yes, they try very hard to keep their site 'clean'. If you did not click on any links on this site, you should not have gotten it from here. There have been reports of some 'malware' links being posted on this site, but the staff and users are reporting and removing them as quickly as we can.
However, be aware that you don't actually have to visit a site to be hit with a Trojan Horse, as I understand it. It can come from an email you got or from someone randomly hitting on your computer.
