What to do about real bad car odor?

Somehow, a rat crawled into my new car (SUV) and it took a few days before I noticed it. I suppose the rat was hiding somewhere under the seats in a very inaccesible place because it died in there and I still can't find the "dead body". The odor is unbearable. I paid a lot for deep interior cleaning, but the odor persists. What can I do?

    Take out the interior and replace it.

    OK. go to O'Reilly's auto parts buy some carpet cleaner called blue coral.first clean the carpet with hot water and dawn.then wipe with a towel. then spray blue coral and scrub the carpet. that should get it out of there.

    6 years of auto clean up.

    place the whole box of baking soda inside your car, it will absorb the smell.
