Any ideas for my high school opinion peice. Easy 10 pts.!?

This month the elections are a great topic. I think an opinion piece on the Bradley Effect (racism in voting) would be very interesting.

What is currently annoying you or inspiring you? Those are typically tied to an opinion and you will have greater success if you write about something that you care about.

I personally am annoyed by the current slang term, "You're gay, that's gay, this is gay..." because it is supposed to mean something is uncool and the usage has nothing to do with gayness. It just seems like an unecessary slam against gays, which frankly, most people who use the term, probably don't intend to do. Is there a usage that bothers you?

I did gambling and casino laws as my opinion piece my junior year. Most states have lottery solely for the fact that it funds education and grants for students (Tennessee Hope, Florida Bright Futures, etc..). Alot of people disagree because they think the money should go to someone else or to other state projects. Maybe you could write about how you feel about it. It's not too broad of a topic and people don't use it that often. Good Luck!

Well...there r alot of topics that u could write on and its really your choice...if it were me i would write on the trouble students and teachers have with each other and how it is all biased. i love school but sometimes i dont get the grade i should because that teacher doesnt like me or have the same the beliefs or doesnt agree with my dad being in the army...its jus alot of things that go on in our everyday lives through highschool not just out in the world...thats my opinion....i hope that helps!!
