Should I get a restraining order?
My ex and I have a 2yr. old he said he's not ready to be an active dad which is fine it's not a surprise he wasn't there for me my whole pregnacy nor is his name on the birth cert. he still lives with his dad and his new girl and her 3yr.old daughter. I'm happy for them, I don't want child support or anything from him he doesn't visit or call and when we see each we speak and keep going no hard feelings. Well two weeks ago his dad called the police and sent them to my house saying that his grandson was in danger, they came with CPS and two other cars. I told them the story, and showed them the birth cert. and my son has my last name, they left no problems since then. Should I get a restraining order on my ex's dad?
He controls my ex and now he wants to control me as well by involving the police.
My ex has two other kids that he's not taking care of as well but they live out of state and his dad supports this behavior.

I wouldn't get a restraining order because that would just start more drama. Maybe you should move away from them, so your child can have a happy life without the drama. =]]
hope this helps!

If she has filed the order she should not be in situation if she chooses to damage it--however she's creating a massive mistake if she does. The restraining order used to be placed into final result to defend her from this man. The courtroom approach is not going to take her severely if she deliberately places herself in role to be close him.

Without physical violence or a threat of violence, I don't know that you have enough fro a protection order. You can notify CPS and let them know about the hostility between you in case he makes another bogus call.
