How do I get a company to fire a horrible employee?
I called this business the other day to make a purchase. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude. I asked her if they stock a particular item. After she said they do I told her I would be over there between 5:45 & 6pm. She told me it was after 5pm and the office is closed (I called @ 4:55). I reminded her of their policy that if a customer calls before 5 that they will keep the office open until the purchase was made. Then was very rude when telling me that the foreman told her that he will be locking up at 5pm. After that nasty response I told her to give me her first and last name and will call the main office. I did call the main office and spoke to her boss. He told me she knows the policy and will wait for me. When I got there at 6:15 (thanx to the wreck on the road) she was just getting in her car. I told her to open the office so I could purchase my item. She refused by telling me the office was closed then got in her car and left!!! Ok, so I call the office again and left a complaint message. Noone returned my call. I called later to have my item reserved and this same b i tch answers the phone. I had my doubts but I gave her a chance to redeem herself. She said they carried my item but not in the size I required. I told her you're in the business and you DON'T carry this size?? She rudely told me that she was never aware of this item in that size (HVAC filter, 42x32). I told her she obviously does not know what she's doing and requested to speak with someone else who does. Then she was extremely rude when she told me that she does know what she's doing but would see if there was someone else who could help. I told her that I was sick and tired of her sorry excuses and would give my business to another company. Then I hung up. How do I go about getting this company to fire this horrible person?

With employees like that you don't have to worry about her being fired. When they close their doors, due to lack of customers, she'll be out of a job.

Wow, you are a mean customer. She doesn't deserve to be fired. She sounds like she was being as patient as anyone could be with you. They stayed over an hour late after closing time waiting for you, ONE CUSTOMER. That is paying employees an extra hours wage just so you can come and buy one item. Then, you get mean with the girl on the phone because they don't carry the size you want. It's not the customer services reps fault that the company doesn't carry a certain size. She doesn't make those decisions. You need to find another way to take out your aggression.

You are the perfect example of a customer that everyone loves to hate. This employee went out of her way, sacrificing time with her family to wait on YOU. Then you have the audacity to demand that she re-open the office after YOU arrive....LATE. You were way out of line when you told her that she doesn't know what she's doing when you don't even know what her actual job function is within the company. As far as I'm concerned you never had a valid complaint because this employee went above and beyond the call of duty to assist you....she stayed late, sacrificing her own personal time AND did attempt to assist you.

Seems like the employee bent over backwards for you. If the manager was so concerned about that policy he should have stayed late himself. Imagine someone coming to where you work demanding you stay late after working all day and just want to see your family. You seem like the kind of customer that will complain if mcdonalds put 1 pickle in your burger instead of 2. Maybe you could have gone in early and got what you needed instead of someone stay late. And then on top of it the lady stays late anyways and your even more late than you should have been. Her getting in her car was probably an indication for you to say sorry i was late ill come back tomorrow.

lol ppl like you suck, 5min to close and wastes hours of the employee's life. I have had some one come in a minute before close, stay 2 hours and an hour of clean up that couldnt be done until after they left. You are the asshole the whole world doesnt revolve around you. Also was your clock right, i have had ppl call 15 to 20 min. after closing claiming it to be 1 min before close.
also i have had pl like you scream at me if we didnt carry a product or were out of it.

WOW the only B around here is you! Ever stop to think that she was supposed to get off at 5 and had somewhere to be? You could purchase your filter another day like a normal customer.
She won't get fired.

Like most of the posters here, you are the one at fault for being an inconsiderate, rude and demanding customer. I wound not want you to be one of our patients.

you were late and then you get mad cause she didn't want to help you.. reck or not.. I wouldn't have want to help you either...
I work in customer service and HATE it when a customer thinks they are in the right when the tell me what policy is.. as IF I do no now know..

Nope...completely effective - I even have pronounced to shops interior the previous that they the two hearth human beings, reassign them the place they don't could manage the traditional public or retrain them in client help.

I an see why you are frustrated but I don't see how getting her fired will make your situation better. AS a consumer you best move is to shop elsewhere and tell them why you are shopping elsewhere. Getting her fired is just spiteful and will likely do nothing to solve your problem.
I would suggest called whoever and explain the situation but be rational and maybe they will give you a discount or something. Getting her fired achieves nothing for you really.
