Go into a wilkinsons store or B&Q and you can find plastic trays full of sillica gel used to dry rooms out when central heating systems are on the blink.
Put one on the back seat and one in the boot and it'll keep the car dry while in storage.
The gel can be put somewhere warm to remove the water from it too,so it can be used again.

The best way is to get a load of silica jell, like what you get in small packets with electrical items also around the edges of dbl glazed windows to soak up the damp also keep all your air vents full open!

sounds such as you have a water leak. the two the heater middle or the climate stripping around the doors or residing house windows is leaking. The scent is coming from the moist carpet. in case you could pull the carpet up and spot if the floorboard is damp or moist. in case you look under the carpet front/passenger and that's moist then maximum probable your heater middle is leaking. someplace else you could confirm what had deteriorated. P.S. you may additionally us a clothespin on you nostril in the previous you get into your automobile. LOL stable success

Salt, chalk, rice, coffee granules, or any other dry material. It will absorb the moisture in the air. Try to use something that won't make the car stink though!
