why don't game show winners talk about taxes they need to pay on the air? I have never seen contestants talk about taxes on the winnings

    It wouldn't be exciting and it's no one's business how much taxes a person needs to pay.

    Game show producers only want excitement and happy talk on their shows, otherwise, viewers go elsewhere. Talk of taxes is such a downer, especially next year after everyones are raised, that they would cause viewers to turn-off the show. Such talk, if discussed, would be edited out.

    hm, Good question. I think they get paid not to say anything. Or maybe they don't think about the taxes at that moment. I'm truly not sure but in my on opinion i think its because they are just actors being paid to act like they won money. Except for the lottery.

    There's no fun in talking about taxes....that would bring every down.

    That would ruin the illusion of easy wealth for thee audience and probably hurt the ratings.
