Is this a bad ACT score for a first try?

i'm taking the ACT retake today. hopefully i'll do better on the math

    It depends on where you are going. Hopefully you can get around a 27 today! Suggestion for math: Don't use the hard algebraic way of solving problems with variables! Substitute them with numbers like 1 and 2! And be familiar with your formulas! GOOD LUCK!
