Is there a system (a method) by which one can edit a video clip?

I mean to add up or delete from an existing video clip or film.Well I want to do away with what is not necessary and add new video recordings if necessary to an existing recording. What I really mean is that a method of modifying a video clip.

yes, windows movie maker is free with windows and you can do some editing there, if you want to animate it you can take snapshots of the frames of the video in movie maker, then save them somewhere, then get a program like gimp or photo shop to edit each individual pic. then you just put them into movie maker in order.

Source(s): here is a clip i made in about a half a min with my friend using movie maker and gimp : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oYjFGMUwAxM (its not amazing but it was first attempt and also it wasn't very important so i rushed through it)

by system do you mean program?

if you are using windows, you can use Windows Movie Maker located in your programs folder.

for more advanced users... you can use Sony Vegas
