Japanese companies have high standards of work ethic. Compared to other cultures, Japanese people take their job very seriously. Going into a Japanese McDonald's, for example, you would rarely see trash lying on the floor and the atmosphere is much cleaner. They strive to work hard and that's what I love about Japanese culture.

Hi, I'm Japanese.
I think, there are probably three resons.
1. Japan is so narrow that the rents of airport grounds are very high.
2. Due to tough control in law, a few companies monopoly the market. (So low-price companies based in foreign country basically can't accept the sanction.)
3. The sallies of the pilots and flight attendants are very high.
