Detroit Casino Minimum Ages?

Question

I am looking to go gambling on my 18th birthday, I would love to go in downtown detroit but I am fairly sure no casino's down there are under 21. Could you please list the casinos in Michigan that allow 18 year olds to game? Thank you!

any casinos in Windsor/ in and around the Detroit area would be fine too!

You have to be 21 to gamble at a casino in Detroit. I believe you have to be 18 to gamble at the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mount Pleasant but if you want to verify, you can call the casino at 1-888-732-4537.

Well, I work at Caesars Windsor so I know the age there is definitely 19.  My recollection however is that some of the casinos in mid and northern Michigan which are Indian run seem to have a different standard.  My recollection is that Soaring Eagle in particular has a gambling age of 18.  They're about 2 hours north of Detroit and probably your closest bet.   Google them and check on that but I'm pretty sure.  I think they may get away with it because it's on Indian property.

Edit:  I just checked a site where it does indeed confirm that the gambling age at Soaring Eagle in Mt. Pleasant, Mi., is indeed 18, although the drinking age remains at 2l.
