How do I get the car warranty robocalls to stop?
Of course, I am on the DoNotCall List. But we bought a used Toyota a couple of years ago. Now we get up to three calls a day.
We have asked that they remove our name from their lists. I have several times talked to an actual human, but when I ask the name of the company, or request to speak with a supervisor, they hang up. They use several different numbers, none of which allow incoming calls.
Help!

The do-not-call registry is a good method for legitimate sites. Most of these are not legitimate, so the do-not-call folks are powerless (Most such sites are overseas scam operations). The could be stopped if the telecoms wanted to, but they don't care.
What has worked for me is to first, as a courtesy and also because in a few cases it actually resulted in the call stopping, tell a caller that every time they call you in the future you will gladly listen to the entire presentation and then sign up for everything they want to sell with a false identity and credit information. I give them the address of my state attorney general. They will arrogantly inform you that they will catch that because the card won't go through. I ask them how much time they think I can make the process take. At that point they hang up on me. I then follow through on my offer. Your name will come off their list by the second or third call if not the first.

An option to try is ... If you have a fax machine available... Hook it up to the phone line and set the manual setting, when the robo calls again, hit the receive button and that will tell the robo-caller that it is a fax line and It should not call anymore
This has worked for me on a number of those calls, Now I go days without even a call. Just like the old days! LOL!
Take care,I hope this helps.

Caller ID would help. Don't answer the phone unless it's a number you know. I have two phone numbers, my cell phone which family and friends and work have, Then there's my Comcast Cable phone line, which I give out to businesses, online orders, etc.

Record each number, and submit them to the do not call registry complaint folks. Someone else already submitted the URL

definite it may be lined. in case you're taking it to a important broker they could desire to be waiting to get entry to the guaranty information without delay from the producer (who they're going to value for the restore). you mustn't could desire to have paperwork. call up the broker and ask to talk to their service branch. tell the service agent which you have a guaranty restore you prefer accomplished to the horn. With basically the reg style of the motor vehicle they could desire to be waiting to tell you prompt if there's an issue with it being a guaranty activity, in any different case purely e book it in, drop it off, and %. it up whilst accomplished.
