    Colin is spot on.

This is a very common problem due to either the light unit not being tightened down enough (but don't over tighten) or the seal is missing/replaced incorrectly and damaged.

If required we use silicon sealer and jobs a good one

Sounds like the foam gasket around the rear lights have perished unfortunately the gaskets are not sold separately from the rear lamps which are around £90 per side from a dealer. If you get one from a breakers you run the risk of damaging the gasket while removing the lights (back to square one). Some kind af silicone based sealant may be best.

    Hi

Very common on these . we use a tube of clear silicon bathroom sealant , works well take the whole unit out and seal it with that will work fine .

    Hope this helps

from what i've seen have you been in a recent accident as due to that your rear head lights may have cracks OR the seal around it may be worn out.
