Worse calls made by officials in football?
Michigan Wolverines, Brandon Minor catches a pass but never lands in bounds. His foot hits the pylon and it lands 18 inches into the white out of bounds. The official on the play calls it out of bounds. It got overturned by the replay officials. Yet they couldn't state what rule or why it was a catch. It's not like his foot was ever in bounds once he caught the football.
It was a blatantly bad call. I can only surmise that somebody had a bet on this game. Tim Donahee (sp) or somebody. Luckily it didn't affect the game's outcome.
As far as terrible calls go, this is right up there. It just didn't have the impact of say the Brady tuck rule. etc...
What the worse call that you remember?

1. the pass interferene call on Glenn Sharp in the Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State
2. the offensive pass interference call against Braylon Edwards which negated a TD catch in the 2002 Michigan-Ohio State game
3. the no call in the 2001 Michigan-Michigan State game, where Larry stevens was held on the games final play, allowing Smoker to find enough time to hit Ducket in the end zone
Those calls were worse then the minor call yesterday

Oregon recovering an on-side kick against Oklahoma in 2006. The officials ruled OU touched the ball and was recovered by Oregon, when the replay clearly showed that no OU player touched the ball. That cost OU the game. And proved to me the officials in the Pac10 are just as crooked as the teams in the Pac10. Pay off players (Bush) and officials.

Broncos vs Chargers
2 bad calls by the ref, one was supposed to be a fumble but wasn't ruled as one, the other was exactly the opposite. both of these helped the Broncos.IF it wasn't for those calls, the Chargers would have won that game.
