Problem regarding copying .avi video in CD?
I have one .avi video file which I want to copy to CD. I did it by Nero version 6, by choosing the option "make video CD". The CD was burnt but what i got in the CD, was a .dat file. It played but the video quality has worsened.
Again I burnt another CD using the CD burning feature of windows Media Player version 9. This time the video quality is good and I got .avi file in the CD but while playing the CD the video stream is often getting interrupted.
How can I get a good quality video without any problem in playing?

The reason Nero's CD was worse, is because it converts it from AVI to an MPEG file, which is often not as efficient as AVI.
Its hard to say why the video is jerky without knowing your full system specs, and everything installed on your PC.
Try Videolan : http://www.videolan.org/mirror-geo.php?file=vlc/0.... - its the most problem free, simple media player I've used. It's always worth trying playing through a different media player, just in case.

Burn your video in Nero Vision or Nero Express, choose 'Super Video CD'', not 'Video CD'. You will get good quality video (about 45 minutes on cd).
