Is there a taste difference between oysters, clams, and muscles? Which do you prefer?

I think it's spelled mussels. I used to go on vacation with my parents on a lake in FL and they were plentiful. Clams are okay, I like clam chowder, both Manhattan and New England. Kind of chewy. Oysters just taste great. They have a smell like most kinds of seafood. I would say a stronger taste than clams. I've gone to oyster cookouts where we ate them steamed. My favorite dish is fried oysters and fried shrimp. In my opinion oysters have a stronger taste than clams. I have never tried mussels.

I've never had muscles, but I think clams and oysters taste a little different. I prefer clams.

Mussels taste too fishy to me. Clams are a little more mild. My favorite is cooked oysters in warm milk with oyster crackers! Yum...........

They do taste different. But I prefer oysters. I like them raw w/ some lemon juice and a shot of hotsauce.
