entourage problems in sending emails?

I m using imac and entourage 2008 on an exchange server account. when i try to send emails it wont work but it does receive emails fine. What would be the problem? i followed all the guidelines that the company gave me to setup the account but not it wont send my messages. i would appreciate it if you can help me out. thanks

    Have you completely set up your account all the way and

    seen finished once done?
