You will not get the promotional price on the website. If you buy a new phone before you're due for your upgrade you will pay full retail price on the new phone. As for changing your plan it depends on what your current calling plan is and what phone you're planning on buying. For example, if you just have a normal phone right now and are planning on buying a black berry, etc you will have to change your calling plan to accomidate the data features of the device.
