How to see hidden files in a folder in XP?

    Go into windows explorer (it doesnt matter where, my documents wherever you want) go to folder options and select the view tab. Scroll down until you come across a line that reads "Show hidden files and folders" and check it (:

    In an open window, go to tools/folder options/view/show hidden files.
