Sam Jones, Moses Malone, Doug Collins.

They were so many great players who had 0 points in their debut.

And nothing's wrong with that.

It's only 1 game.there's 81 more to look forward to.

I know one or two big men had scored 0 points in their nba debut, YAO! Yao had zero pts in 13 mins...ah...well, it's ok, he'll come back in 2 or 3 game depending on the severity of his injury. I believe he will soar after his 6-7th game (by that time he'll average 12-14 pts 7-8 rebs 2 blks) - he needs abit of time to adjust his game. I say he wasn't ready mentality in his first game that led to a super bad performance. He'll get over it. We'll get over it, or NOT but he'll do well soon.

A lot of others did it too. Yao is probably the most recent. Moses was another great who didn't score on his debut. This happens. Just wait and see. Oden will grow more.

Oden looked like a little kid (biggest little kid ever) lost in a shopping mall on offense.

Yao is one of the players who has done that and he is now one of two best centers in the NBA.
