Vitamin Deficiency or Heart Defect?

I have a 14 month old daughter. I recently miscarried. I am weak and tired all the time. I have mood swings. I lack sexual drive and enjoyment. I have aches in my body but mostly my legs. For a few years now I get colds that result into sometimes stuff in my lungs or a dry cough. The cough stays for a few months at a time. This happens once or twice a year. My husband says I changed once I got pregnant with my daughter.

My mom also has a genetic heart defect. So does her brothers and sisters. The doctor says she most likely will pass it down to her kids and grand kids. She comes down with some of the same symptoms so I am worried! I forgot what it is called but her arteries in her heart are smaller than normal. Her and my Aunt have had several surgeries for blockages.

Do I have a vitamin deficiency or do I need to be alarmed that it could be more serious like what my mom has?

Just from the short description, your blood counts could be off, especially hemoglobin, and hematocrit after a recent miscarriage. Has your OB/GYN physician performed a simple blood test lately ? It's always wise to start looking at most recent events first, and your legs ache or heavy ? Unless you are overweighed, older, cardiac diseases are not as frequent in younger persons although you have a genetic background. But since you are aware of Arteriosclerosis tendencies, I'd be prepared by adopting healthy life style, if I were you. For now, give your doctor a call and tell her of your symptoms. Take care !

Go to the doctor NOW!!!! He/she should do bloodwork to check all of your nutrient levels and run tests to see if your heart is ok. You want to know asap so you can be on the right road to recovery. Your daughter needs you. Being a healthy mom makes it alot easier to be a good mom.
