I can't sign into my Yahoo email account! Why? ?

same thing has happened to me. it says the username/password is wrong every time, right?

and this is the SECOND time it has happened. the first time, they had completely deactivated my yahoo account. You can tell if this is the case by googling your old Y!A name and seeing if your profile comes up or if it says 'oops' message.

But THIS time, my old profile DOES come up. It hasn't been deactivated/suspended. Because we can't even access mail! WHAT HAS HAPPENED

Try asking on the suggestions board, everyone. Click on 'tell us what you think' at the bottom of this page. And then 'make a suggestion' and ask as a 'question' what's happened. Sometimes the yahoo team replies, or a user might be able to help.

I've been using the same password for years and for the last two years now I can't get into my account. I pressed the help button so I can retreive my password , but it sends it to my old phone so I still can't access my account. There has to be a way to get my old account back all my mail and kids info and job offers use this email address please help.

I am having the exact same problem....... would love to know!! I hav been using the same username and password but for some reason it is now telling me that its wrong. It is also telling me that the username is available. I had to sign in in a round about way... it takes me to a messages that says page connot be found but when i go back to yahoo homepage... im signed in.

Had to change my password and made a new sign in seal. This was after clicking forgot my password. Once i put in correct ID my name was verified as were a couple of other questions. Am now able to sign in after a few frustrating hours.

same thing is happening to me right now. I was told that someone i know might have hacked into my account and changed all my information. I emailed myself to see if i would get a bounce back no such email but i haven't so i know it's still out there and good. think back to someone you may have fought with recently or someone who might know all your information.... you might be able to hack back into your own account..

I have upgraded to Fibre Optic [infinity] as advised by BT, ironically the system I use presently was designed for my type of use by BT, As a layman' dependant on advisory comments from the professionals ??

I would recommend that BT upgrade their service maintenance schedule !!!!

I think we all just need to switch to GOOGLE and get an email account with them.

I can sign up on laptop, but on desktop after winow 10, same id and password I can not sign up.

i have no idea what to do?
