The best example i can think of is the kid that went in and started shooting school mates, after watching the movie Basketball Diaries...ill try to find a website about it.
I dont believe its just the movie that does that, i think a kid already has to be messed up in the head, and the movie just gives them a better idea on how to do it.

If you have ever watched a child veiw a kids show that's all they do is try to do what the characters on the show do. It goes the same for a R rated show. Children are learning and if they see someone doing something they don't know that it could be dangerous. They are not ready to see show that are R rated since they cannot yet use the judgement part of their brains correctly yet. monkey see monkey do...Children want to mimic what others do in order to see if they can do it...thats how they learn.....good luck with you essay

maybe it gives children negative views on life situations?
children imitate what they observe and if they observe violence on a regular basis they will imitate.
For example children of smokers will imitate smoking in their games.
there have been many cases where children have injured their peers after having watched these films and attempting to imitating them...

A bunch of kids got themselves killed after imitating a movie where the kids in it lay down on the center line of a highway..
I think it was "flatliners"

i think of it relies upon on what its rated r for exe..violence,nudity and that such. such as you wouldnt enable a three 365 days previous watch alien or ft13 because of the fact some r rated video clips can somewhat screw little ones up
