Do you think red is the most attractive color for women?
Science has done extensive research and found that red was the color that made women the most attractive, and the color that makes men the most amorous. Do you think this is true?

As a woman I love to see a woman in bright colors that contrast with her skin tone - my favorites are lime green, bright pink, intense aqua, black (with flashes of color), and bright red. I also love to see a mix of textures such as silk, pleating, iridescence.
I think men in our culture are taught to associate women in red dresses with sex. I don't think it's genetic.

No becuz the studies are to small & with way to many variables. Depending on the age group, race, income, IQ level, location, ethnic backgrounds, social behavior, and day of the week, the outcome will always be different.
I will give you a perfect example. If you ask in "yahoo answers" if tatts and metal is girls faces is attractive, the answer would be yes. You could publish your results and state it as a fact. You would get this answer because of the ages, IQ levels, and antisocial ways that many of the females here fall into. Go to a place where they are older, more mainstream (not all emo & punk & myspace & crap) and your results would be the complete opposite. You could then purplish your results there and state it as a fact. The only real "fact" is that you science is based on opinions & not facts. Such as Coke vs Pepsi.

Yes, I think so. Red seems to make a person light up and bring out warmer tones, like a summer tan or something. Blue and darker colors are usually associated with unhappy things.

for certain women, yes. it depends on their skin tone, hair, eye-color, etc. slender women look better in red; heavier women would look better in black. it also depends on how u wear the color, as in pants, dresses, blouses & how much of it. it's true, red does stand out & men notice it. they notice it in a more positive way in an attractive woman than they would a more ordinary one. their wght also has a lot to do w/ how "amorous" men get.

Yes, Mr. Spock - but only if science said that. So Palin bought $150,000 worth of red cloths..... Is she trying to have sex with the American people?

I think it depends on their skin tone, hair colour, even eye colour which colour looks best with a woman. I have brown hair, brown eyes, and pale skin and I think I look best in greens.
