What is best anti-virus for windows vista ?

There is this orange window pop-up & start counting down to shut off my computer and you have the choice to: postpone it, or after 1,2,or 4 hours to shut-off..

    I believe that window that you see is Windows Vista itself. It did that to me recently after it installed some updates, and it gave me a choice of when it would restart to install the updates.

    As for the best virus scanner, AVG is completely free and easily the best out there.
