Viewing XP User files?

If I suspect that a windows XP Home Edition system has a virus and it is unbootable, should I be able to view the NTFS user files by attaching the hard drive as a slave to a master NTFS Windows 2000 system?

I don't believe anyone hasn't said this already?

Yes you can BUT it's very likely that whatever virus infected that hard drive can infect yours once you or your computer attempts to read that directory.

If you plan to slave the drive to another Windows machine be VERY careful about what content you are dealing with.

It's safer to use a Live Linux CD (like Ubuntu) to toy with the drive since Linux isn't affected by viruses for Microsoft Windows.

you're able to be able to additionally view them via your cyber web browser. record>Open (come across your %). Or attempt good clicking on the jpeg itself and decide "Open With" and of their you're able to see a default software or a number of (based what you have loaded) to open the record
