Downloading Adobe on I-Pod Touch?

Can you download Adobe Media player on an I POD touch ? I keep getting the response that Safari can't download this file. Is there something I am missing or it just can't be done ?

    If you mean to run Flash, then no. No Flash on iPhone (at least not just yet)
