Big flea problem can someone help?

I have two cats one is a Himalayan cream colored flame point and a Persian dark colored. My Persian doesn't seem to have fleas as bad. My Himalayan has flea so bad nothing I do is working. I have bombed the house, used knockout e.s.spray from vet, advantage plus and revolution from vet. I also tried washing my cats in vinegar, dawn dish soap and regular flea and tick soap/spray. I have had flea now for 3 to 4 months and I can't get rid of them. I bathe my cats once every two weeks. The vets can't seem to help me other than me keeping the flea treatment on them. I do every month I use both treatments. I am at my wits end and thinking abouts getting rid of the cats. I never had this problems before, can someone help?!

Update:

My cats don't go outside.

Update 2:

Yes I have used Capstar also, many times.

Fleas can be a big problem but please don't get rid of your cats. First try to use some type of pest control to come and spray your yard and house. Then take something called Borax on all your carpets and wait a few moments. Then vacuum them. Make sure to wash all your sheets, pillows, cat beds , etc. Now I know this may sound bad but you may want to cut your cats hair and make it shorter or shave it. It will make them less appealing to fleas. Give them a bath in an anti flea shampoo and get them a flea collar. Then by some flea spay and spray it on them and apply advantage. After try cap-star. Please try this and be patient your cats aren't any happier than you are.

I have to cats i have an outdoor cat and an indoor cat sence both of your cats are indoor i would try to seperate them that way one cat doesnt get all the fleas to and the one that does i would recomend putting the cat outside if you are somewhere safe where there isnt a lot of cars aroud because then the fleas will be able to be more free and find somplace else new to go easier and faster plus you will get ride of the flea problems

It just works for a day but have you tried Capstar? It's a pill you give to the cats and in 24 hours it kills all the fleas, but it only works for that 24 hour period. It might kill enough for you to get ahead of them, you can give it more than once.
