Prop 8 question legality?

If the result is challenged in court won't they just overturn whatever the vote results are?

Could someone give me some more input?

    They can't and that's the point. It will be in the state constitution. States are responsible for marriage laws and if it's in the state constitution, even the state supreme court can't overturn it.
