Computer Case Fan Problem?
So I start up this PC, everything runs fine for a while, but then the lone case fan will start to squeak and eventually turn itself off. The computer continues running despite this, and SpeedFan tells me that it's 127C (206F) inside the case! I don't know if I should swap the fan, if there's a faulty temp sensor on the board or what. Advice, please.
Thanks for the responses. The computer that this fan is in is a server computer for my business here, so I'm trying to find some way to fix it without extensive downtime.

the fan is supost to go off if it is not going the full speed so it wont burn up
but if the fan has lights of it one of the lights may be hitting the blades or the same wit h a wire if not them it is an inturnal problem and it would make more sence to buy a new fan at best buy that is the cheapest for fans

The fan is 100% for sure bad. I wouldn't even use the computer if it is getting that hot in there. If you do it will probably destroy either your motherboard or something else. Just get a new fan they are only a few dollars on newegg

I think if it had reached 127 degrees your PC would be dead by now.
Buy a replacement fan or two, they are easy to fit and will cool your PC down no end. The worst enemy of a PC is overheating.

Just buy a 140mm fan and replace it. Power connectors (to your power supply) are standard so that won't be proprietary to the Cooler Master.

This might be a dumb question, but have you cleaned the fan? Too much dust will cause it to go haywire.

definitely swap the fan. they are not that expensive and it seams to me that yours is almost dead.
