I root for Ccleaner too. Also, start in safemode and run the defragmenter. I'll defrag faster in safemode than in the full bootup.

if its still slow... use sysinternals and kill the threads, but I dont recommend to do this because its pretty advanced. One wrong action and youre computer is dead :)

If its still slow... just reinstall everything :) but its the hard way :)
