A question about vet charges...?
Is it normal to pay 95 dollars for two X-Rays? What about 180 dollars for an ultrasound?

Sounds fairly normal. You have to pay good money for your pets health

Yes - those are very expensive machines and thus quit a bit of money to use them. Prices vary from vet to vet, town to town, country to country. This site is not only all over the States but all over the WORLD. So prices can be vastly different depending where you are but then so is cost of living, income, etc, so it's all relative.
I live in the Seattle area and paid $230 for un ultrasound on a cat last year and I paid $125 for a ferret that needed an xray. Ultrasound prices can vary as well at a specific doctor if they have more than one machine. When I had my cat's done we needed to use the better machine with more detail, so the price was a bit more expensive.

$95 for a couple of xrays is a bargain. My niece paid almost $500 for xrays and some meds when her dog broke a leg.
Just getting my cat spayed, we had to shell out over $200. Teeth extraction (4) and scaling for our 10-yr old dog was more or less $400. Of course, there's the annual vaccinations and other stuff. Having pets is really expensive.

Yeah definetly, that is actually really good. I work for a vet where the xrays are $160 for two views. An ultrasound at a local emergency hospital here is $320 so yeah that is very reasonable.

that's a bargain. I work at a vets office and we charge double that for xrays. We don't do ultrasounds but if we did it would be alot more than 180
