What was your FAVORITE HALLOWEEN CANDY to receive when you went trick-or-treating?

When I was young and went trick-or-treating, I didn't care what kind of candy I got. My Mom never gave us candy and when we went out for Halloween, she would have us come home so she could get the good stuff to eat (chocolate) and then take some of our candy from our pillow cases to give out to other kids. :( My Mom used to sit there for hours before trick-or-treating began and wrap a penny in aluminum foil so it would look like a dime. I made sure that I ate some candy that I liked before I got home and my Mom got to it. That was way back in the days when you didn't worry about your candy and what was in it.

Old recipe HERSHEY'S, SUGAR DADDY,

and back in the old days.... before the civil war. (1960's)

we got mostly full sized candy bars.

When I look back on it... my mother had a very sad look when she realized we could count the pieces.

all of it, but mainly i look for gum, especially the mini yellow gumball wrapped in a clear cilophane square with a smiley face on it!

candy corn but they don't make it to taste like it use too. What did they do to it? It used to be yummy not it taste like wax and sugar, yuck.

I love twix but I also like snickers so either one :)
